About
Born 1983, Seoul, South Korea. Hayoung is currently undertaking the second year of her post graduate studies at the Royal Academy of Art in London. A winner of this years Jerwood Foundations’ purchase award granted to a second year student from the Royal Academy School who displays exceptional talent. Ha Young came to London to expand her breadth of experience by spending time in a new environment and culture to understand how these changes in her personal surroundings might affect her work. Mainly choosing to work with paint and pencil she is keen to undertake some animation work over the course of her residency.
