TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The competition runs from 5 August to 11 September 2015.
2. To enter participants must visit www.glenfiddich.co.za, capture their requireddetails on the online entry form and share their story of how they believe they are a Glenfiddich Maverick. Edward Snell & Co and their agents will be responsible for moderating the stories and shortlisting 4 finalists whose stories will be uploaded to www.glenfiddich.co.za, for the public to view. Once the stories are published, the public will be able to vote for their favorite and the most inspiring story via the website.
3. Entry submissions close 14 September 2015
4. Public voting on shortlisted submissions runs from 28 September and closes at midnight of 30 October 2015. The closing date is subject to change without warning.
5. For the purpose of this competition “customer” or “you” means the natural person, whose name, contact telephone number and South African Identity number or valid passport number is stipulated on the entry form is a valid entry into the competition draw to win the grand prize.
6. If the contact number on the entry form does not exist or does not belong to the chosen winner/s, a new winner will be redrawn immediately under the same conditions. If Edward Snell & Co. Ltd is unable to contact the winner amongst other because the winner/s’ contact number/s is/are repeatedly engaged, just ring/s or go/es to voicemail, Edward Snell & Co. Ltd may in its discretion re-draw a new winner.
7. Entry into the competition occurs by fully completing the entry form and you will be entered provided that:
7.1. You are a natural persons over the age of 18 years;
7.2. You are in possession of your valid South African ID book or valid passport;
7.3. Your complete, accurate and up to date name, contact telephone number and South African identity number or passport number are captured on the entry form;
7.4. Your identification can be verified through their South African identity book orpassport;
7.5. You are not a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant to Edward Snell & Co. Ltd, or any marketing service provider in respect of the promotional competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter/s or suppliers of goods or services in connection with this competition, or the spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of such a person.
8. The winner will be selected by means of a majority vote and notified and announced at an awards event hosted in October 2015 in Johannesburg.
9. Your entry into the competition means that you agree and understand that you will stand a chance to win a prize only and that there is no guarantee that you will be receiving any prize.
10. Your entry into the competition means that you agree to and are available to attend a prize giving in Johannesburg in October 2015 should you be selected as one of the 4 finalists. Alternatively a proxy can be sent in your stead.
11. The prize consists of a personalized bottling of Glenfiddich that is limited to 10 bottles.
12. Edward Snell & Co. Ltd will be entitled at its discretion to extend the closing date of the competition.
13. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or debate will be entered into.
14. The prize/s is/are not transferrable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.
15. The award of the personalized bottling of Glenfiddich is subject to the respective winner consenting to publication of his/her name and photographs.
16. Only persons over the age of 18 are eligible to enter.
17. Unless the winner refuses, a) The winner/s name, and town/city will be published on the Glenfiddich website and other media b) Glenfiddich and Edward Snell & Co. Ltd may also decide to publish the winner’s image or require that the winner participates in any marketing activity.
18. The four finalists of the competition will be required to make themselves available for production ofvideos / photos and other assets between the dates of 14 - 27 September 2015.
