Born 1983, Seoul, South Korea. Ha Young is a post graduate from the Royal Academy of Art in London. As a painter she was a winner of the 2010 Jerwood Foundations’ purchase award granted to students who display exceptional talent. Ha Young came to London to expand her breadth of experience by spending time in a new environment and culture to understand how these changes in her personal surroundings might affect her work. She still lives and works in London.
