“Our founder, William Grant, left a secure job to pursue a dream. The beginning of 128 years in the making – full of belief, innovation, brave decisions and proud history; with a man’s conviction and a family’s will.”

With the spirit of the Maverick being the backbone of Glenfiddich, we felt it was fitting to embark on a journey to identify and honour the top thought leaders and visionaries in South Africa.

We identified three pioneering men, all of whom showed relentless determination in their path to success:

Luvuyo Rani- A thought leader and entrepreneur who saw a gap in the market and went against the grain to make his vision of a tech savvy South Africa a reality: http://bit.ly/1Lr6IIi

Nick Kaoma- Founder and CEO of innovative lifestyle brand, Head Honcho Clothing: http://bit.ly/1Kvwl5y

Vincent Manzini- A taxi driver turned business owner who uses his success to fuel the success of others: http://bit.ly/1MCFU9y

We then opened the floor and invited those who embodied the passion and determination of a true Maverick to share their stories with us, in prospect of being honoured as the next Glenfiddich Maverick at an elite event to be held in Johannesburg at the end of October.
